Natalia Melnikova and Jake Wilder expected a foreign marriage to be a challenge, but neither anticipated Jake’s murder.
Natalia uses a correspondence service to find a suitable American husband. Unbeknownst to Natalia, the agency is Mob controlled, and she is forced to conceal the existence of her kidnapped young son from Jake, a Silicon Valley executive. She is told the boy will be returned to her once Jake’s life insurance death proceeds are sent to the mobsters.
